Join us for a Labor Day picnic lunch to start off the new year. Bring your blanket and lunch and we can all get to know each other better while the kids play. We will meet in the playground/grassy area behind SMUUCh on September 6 · 11:00am - 2:00pm. Open to everyone and every age. We also have a SMUUCh playgroup site on Facebook. Please join us to learn about new events, get great parenting tips and socialize.

Please plan to join us Sat. September 25 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Shelter #8 for a picnic at Shawnee Mission Park. We'll have a light, continental breakfast to start the day, followed by organized and unorganized play for young kids, older kids, and adult kids. At noon, we'll start the grills and cook up a great lunch, then play some more. Everyone is invited; members, friends, visitors, strangers off the street! The sole purpose of this picnic is to spend some quality time with each other and have fun. - Cobblestone Quilt Workshop

Join us for our annual Cobblestone Quilt Workshop from 10 am-5 pm in Saeger House. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. All skill levels, every age, there will be something for everyone to do! Finished quilts will be donated to Rose Brooks Center for Battered Women and Children. These quilts are used by the children as "teddy bear help" when they arrive at the center, and then they take their quilts with them when they leave.
