FREE childcare is always provided at our ContinUUm events. Most events will occur on the second Saturday of each month 7-9:30 pm in the former teacher's lounge. Bring snacks and drinks to share. Contact Elizabeth Arnold for more information or see our group on Facebook (SMUUChurch ContinUUm).

Basically Boomers – This group of adults 40+ meet at various times and venues to get to know other church members and friends better. It could be "First Fridays" at the Crossroads, an Election Night Watch Party, or a simple BBQ in someone's backyard. For any questions about the Basically Boomers group or its events OR to be included in their email list, contact Vickie Trott.

Men's Group - ALL SMUUCh men are invited to join us 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. twice each month, once on the first Monday in Room 4 for informal discussion or a preselected topic and again on the third Monday of the month. In the Fellowship Hall for a potluck dinner. For more info, contact Danny Hewett.

Ulysseans - This is an energetic group of senior UUs, mostly retired, but not all, who enjoy getting together monthly from September through May for lunch and a program. The group usually meets in Fellowship Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of each month around noon. Some of the fun has included a trip to marble factory, tours of the new Kansas City Star building, the Nerman Museum at JCCC, the new Bloch Building at the Nelson, and area apple orchards. Contact Rebecca Reagan for more information.

Playgroup - This is an informal group designed to facilitate developing friendships among preschool aged children in the church and to provide an informal support system for their parents.  Be sure to check out the SMUUCh playgroup site on Facebook to learn about new events, get great parenting tips and socialize.
