For the second summer in a row, we have chosen to give our dedicated volunteer teachers a break. Rachel Wathen, our Director of Religious Education, will be leading Children's Chapel every Sunday this summer, and she need some helpers.
If you have not been able to be an RE teacher, please consider volunteering in Children's Chapel this summer! We are going to have a great time.
Nursery/Toddler and Preschool students will continue to attend their regular classes and we need helpers there too.
You can help with the Babies and Toddlers, the Preschoolers, or Elementary school-aged kids by clicking here.
We need lots of Volunteer Helpers in our Religious Education classes and as hallway monitors during classes. This is for the safety and well-being of all our children.
Helpers are needed for all grade levels - so choose your "favorite age." Tasks might include escorting a little one to the restroom, rocking a fussy baby, helping with handouts or helping to supervise children on the playground. Hall monitors can bring along the Sunday paper or a book to read.
While you help the children you just might make some new "little friends" and serve as a positive adult role model for our UU kids.
