| Endowment Trust Committee |
Our church owes a great debt to the Saeger family, who donated the land upon which SMUUChurch stands, as well as the older buildings such as the Barn chapel and Saeger House. Along with those gifts came a significant cash endowment to the church. Since then, other memorial gifts have been donated to the church down through the years. It is the responsibility of the Endowment Trust Committee to insure that these funds continue to grow and are wisely invested and managed. |

The Environmental Committee is one way for UUs to put their Faith into Action. We would like our church, homes and community to embrace environmental responsibility. We aim to set examples through recycling, energy conservation, responsible purchasing and disposal projects. We believe that our Seventh Principle...to affirm and promote respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part is our moral imperative. |

Welcomes visitors and helps them become involved in the life of the church. Holds frequent Sunday night Newcomer Desserts to help visitors and others learn about Unitarian Universalism. Provides a path for visitors and friends to join the church when they are ready. Offer care and support to friends and members during illness and other times of crisis. |

The church has an adult choir, a children's choir and an intergenerational instrument ensemble otherwise known as the SMUUChurch orchestra. These groups practice and perform throughout the year. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome. Individual and group performances by members are coordinated by the Music Committee. |
