Description of Activities

Adult Choir -- If your life goes on in endless song this is the place for you. For all who love to sing, even if you can't read music. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:15 in Fellowship Hall.

Annual Retreat -- Weekend of family fun including archery, horses, games and crafts, campfire and Sunday service at a site within 1 hour drive of church. Overnight camping, RVing, cabins or just come for the day.  Usually in early October.

Auction -- Friends and members annually auction off goods and services, including cabin rentals, yard work, boat parties, gourmet picnics, etc.

Book Group (Fiction) -- Meets 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at members' homes to discuss, debate, and decipher books chosen by members. Okay to attend irregularly.

Book Group (Non-Fiction) -- Second Thursdays, 7:00 pm. For more info about the Non-Fiction Book Group contact Fern Aron.

Connections Circles -- Small groups that meet monthly in member's homes for fellowship and spiritual growth.

Dinner For Eight -- A great, informal way to meet and socialize with other church members and friends. Dinners are monthly at members' homes. Guests bring food contributions. It's possible to join anytime during the year.

Monday Men's Group -- Meets the first and third Mondays nights at church for personal sharing and meaningful discussion of topics with relevance to our lives as men. New participants are welcome.

Quarterlife Quorum -- Join a group of young people over age 21 to discover the metro Kansas City region together in an active atmosphere of UU fellowship.

Quilters -- Meets the first and third Mondays at 12:30pm in Saeger House. Other handcrafters welcome. Visit their web site

ThirtySomethings -- (25ish-45ish—single, married, kids, no kids) Meets the second Saturday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in Saeger House for potluck dinner. Childcare available. Please let us know at least three days in advance if you plan on bringing children.

Ulysseans -- Active seniors (50+) meet the second Tuesday of each month for field trips, and other activities, including projects that benefit the church.
